Meet Josh Williams, The President & Chief Instructor at Williams Tactical Consultant Group

Josh is a proven firearms instructor with more than a decade of real-world experience from The United States Army and a career in Law Enforcement. Josh is an active Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Maryland and is a subject matter expert on current firearms laws and the Legal Use of Force.

As President & Chief Instructor of Williams Tactical Consultant Group, Josh oversees all organizational operations, strategic direction, and client engagement while serving as the lead developer and instructor for firearms, self-defense, emergency response, and security training programs. He is responsible for curriculum design, instructor oversight, and quality assurance to ensure all training meets state regulations, industry best practices, and real-world operational standards. He also leads risk assessments and consults with corporate and government clients to identify security gaps, delivering scenario-based instruction tailored to organizational needs. In this role, he ensures the company maintains the highest levels of professionalism, safety, and operational readiness while providing practical training that reduces liability and enhances individual and organizational preparedness.
